Auf Wiedersehen! Sayonara! Farewell!

And just like that... the Busy Bees' Preschool year has come to an end!

The theme of the week was reflection. The preschoolers spent time thinking back and reflecting on all of the learning, happy events, challenging moments and interesting things that they have been part of this year. It was amazing to see how many memories popped up from the preschoolers and what was most special was that they were all memories that were made together, as a class! They drew pictures of their favourite memories and added it to their 'camera roll'. 

One of the most beautiful things teachers get to experience is to witness the astonishing growth of each student. Looking at where they started the school year, to observing the development in self-confidence, knowledge, independence, maturity and even the centimetres grown by the end of the school year! There is so much to celebrate and to be proud of. The preschoolers made proud clouds: they reflected on the achievements and growth that they are most proud of!

We spent our last day playing and laughing together, while enjoying enjoying some refreshing drinks and yummy treats!

The last day of school also marked a special farewell to one of our Busy Bees. We will miss you, Malin!

Busy Bee families, have a wonderful, restful and adventurous summer break! Thank you for being such supportive, caring and proactive cheerleaders for our class!

Busy Bees of 2025/2026, it has been one of my greatest honours being your preschool teacher! Forever in my heart!

Student-Led Conference

This week the preschoolers presented the learning that they have done this year, to their parents. It was their turn to take the lead and in their own words describe what the knowledge that they have acquired this year. They chose the activities for the stations and helped each other practice how to be good communicators. Being reflective and thinking about the skills that we use while learning are important values for lifelong learners. The preschoolers also discussed with their parents goals that they would like to achieve going into the new school year. Thank you to our supportive parents who came to share in this special evening with their children.

The preschoolers enjoyed the Pre-K and Kindergarten 1 students' assembly presentation. The little students taught us about the different seasons and farm animals. Well done kindergarteners!

The Early Years classes (Pre-K, K1 and K2) invited the preschoolers to come and view their Art Exhibition. They were amazed to see the wonderful art and creativity on display. It was also a lovely opportunity for the preschoolers to play with their younger friends. Well done, Early Years!

These superstars are about to enter their final week as preschoolers! Let's make it a special one.
